Fromer Leaf signs with Austrian Team

Center Darby Hendrickson has joined Red Bulls Salzburg of the Austrian hockey league on a two-year contract.
Hendrickson, who played in the NHL for Toronto, Vancouver, Minnesota, Colorado and the Islanders, joined late Tuesday before the close of the transfer window.

Ferrari F50

The Ferrari F50 was designed to commemorate Ferraris 50th Anniversary. The 12-cylinder, 4.75-liter, rear-mounted engine slams out 520 horsepower, flashing the car from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and taking the carbon-fiber body that can get to a top speed of 203 mph. President Luca di Montezemolo said that the F50 was the first and the last Ferrari that would be based on an F1 Engine.

NHLPA Dilemma

Trevor Linden has declared that he won’t quit as the president of the NHLPA, even though some players have demanded his resignation due to his hiring of Ted Saskin as the player unions executive director.
“I was electedby the players to do a job and I still intend to do that job” he stated as he showed up for the first day of training camp on Monday.
